You may visit several websites online for different purposes. It may be for research, communication, business, entertainment or any other purposes. There may be prying eyes who may have specific interests in your browsing behaviour or activities. So if you are very particular, you can ensure complete anonymity while browsing. Whether you are going online at your home or office you can protect your privacy by using the tool mentioned below.
Many people want to stay completely anonymous online for different reasons. Using a fake name and other personal information is not enough to stay anonymous online. If someone deliberately wants to track you they can easily do it. Your Internet Protocol address (IP address) is your digital fingerprint and can reveal lots of things about you.
Some people use Private Browsing (Firefox), Incognito Mode (Chrome) like private browsing windows to keep their browsing activity anonymous. It does protect you from revealing your browser history, search history, download history, web form history, cookies, or temporary internet files (only) with others who have access to your computer. But still all your browsing activity could be tracked remotely by your visiting websites, your employer or whoever else make a deliberate attempt.
So How to Ensure Complete Anonymity While Browsing
I don’t think it’s not the ultimate way. Still I suggest you to try The Onion Route which is popularly known as Tor anonymity network. I don’t recommend if it’s banned in your country. Please check that first.
Tor was originally developed for the U.S. Navy. Now it’s widely available for anyone to use. We can use their TBB (Tor Browser Bundle) to ensure complete anonymity online from networks’ surveillance and tracking.
Tor is different from other proxies. While a typical proxy provider sets up a server somewhere on the Internet and allows you to use it to relay your traffic, Tor passes your traffic through at least 3 different servers before sending it on to the destination and there’s a separate layer of encryption for each of the three relays.
Tor does not modify, or even know, what you are sending into it. So for complete anonymity online my suggestion is to use the Tor Browser Bundle whenever you browse.
How to Use Tor BBT
Just download the Tor Browser Bundle for your OS. It comes pre-configured for Mac OS X, Windows and Linux. I suggest you to move the downloaded file to your USB flash drive and extract it there. So you can run it from the USB Flash drive. It enables you to anonymously browse from any computer. You only need to carry the USB Flash Drive to enjoy anonymous browsing anywhere.
Use Tor every time you go online. Tor protects you by bouncing your communications around a distributed network of relays run by volunteers all around the world. Want to know more about Tor. Then visit Tor Project Overview page. For more Tor products visit Here.
I also suggest you to make an internet anonymity test with your current browser. You may be surprised to see the information others can access about you. For that just visit “http://ip-check.info”
